About Me

I work out of the house so I am home all day and my husband is home during the day at least once or twice a week. There is plenty of attention to go around!

We live on a little over 5 acres, some of it wooded and tall grasses. We often go for walks around the perimeter to get some fresh air during the day. The yard is not fenced in (except for invisible fencing blocking off the front yard) however we live on a quiet, dirt road and our neighbors aren't right next door, so there is the opportunity for visiting dogs to wander free (while being supervised, of course!)

We have no children and no room is off-limits to the dogs. There are numerous extra-thick, extra-large pet "nest" beds in various rooms around the house that can be utilized for some quiet time, though. Your dogs are welcome to sleep on the bedroom floor if that is what they are used to, as well. We are very accommodating to make sure that your dogs have the most relaxing, stress-free stay as they can while sticking to their usual schedule as much as possible.

We have central air to keep the house cool in the summer and a screened in back deck area with a ceiling fan for those dogs who want to relax outside while still remaining cool.

We also have a 2700 sq. ft. garden, a small vineyard out back and numerous fruit trees including 4 apples, pears, apricots and cherries. Needless to say, in the warmer months we spend a lot of time outside!
